Charleston Tea Garden on Wadmalaw Island is home to America's only large-scale commercial tea farm, where descendants of tea bushes brought from China and India over 100 years ago still grow across more than 100 lush subtropical acres. The result is a clean, smooth cup of tea with a genuinely local story behind every bag and every leaf.

Now owned by Bigelow Tea Company, the garden produces tea in two formats: individually wrapped pyramid bags that accommodate a larger leaf than standard flat tea bags for a richer, smoother brew, and loose leaf tea for those who prefer to brew by the cup or pot.
